Gerber Translator
Import
The Gerber translator allows you to input a single layer Gerber file, multiple Gerber layer files or a job file (. njb) and converts this input to a Sonnet project file. There are three types of Gerber imports. Click on a type below for more information.
Export
To output your Sonnet project in a Gerber format, select File => Export => Gerber from the project editor main menu. The Gerber Export Options dialog box is opened to allow you to select options for the export. When the dialog box is closed, a browse window is opened which allows you to save your converted files. Multiple gerber files are created depending on the contents of your Sonnet project and what is specified in the Export Options dialog box.
Note: The Gerber Translator is only available if you have purchased a Gerber Translator license from Sonnet. Please see your system administrator if you are unsure of the availability of this program. The Gerber Translator is only available on Windows platforms.
