Gerber Job file Import
When you select File => Import => Gerber (Job file) from the project editor menu, the following occurs:
A Browse window opens which allows you to select the Gerber job file you wish to import. The job file is usually one created by a prior import of multiple Gerber files; creating the job file allows you to save your import setup.
Once you select a Gerber file for import, the Import Control dialog box appears which allows you to assign the project to which you wish to import the Gerber job file.
When the Import Control dialog box is closed, the Netex-G Window is opened and displays the settings stored in the job file. This allows you to make changes to your setup if needed. Once the desired settings are input, you click on the Import button in the Netex-G window to translate the Gerber file(s).
The Netex-G progress window appears and displays the progress of the translation process. Once the translation is complete, the Import Options dialog box is opened.
Once you have selected the translation options, the Import Status dialog box appears in which you execute the file import. Click on the Import button to import the Gerber files into the Sonnet project. When you close the Import Status dialog box, the translated layers appear in your project editor window.
Once the Gerber files has been imported, you normally need to perform some minor adjustments using the project editor.
