File Supplied Response

When you select File from the Target Response drop list in the Goal Editor dialog box, the Browse button, response type drop list and parameter drop list appear.

Click on the Browse button to open a browse window and chose the desired file.

Select the format of your response from the response type drop list. The choices include:

• DB - magnitude in dB
• ANG - phase angle in degrees
• MAG - magnitude
• RE - real part of the parameter
• IM - imaginary part of the parameter

You select the specific response from the parameter drop list. This drop list will include S, Y, and Z-parameters for all possible port combinations.
