Gerber Translator does not run due to incorrect side by side configuration
Symptoms
When attempting to import a Gerber file, you receive the error message:
The application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect.
Cause
Some Windows 10 installations do not have the Visual C++ 2008 32 Bit DLLs installed which are necessary to run the Gerber translator.
Workaround
If your Windows 10 installation does not have the DLLs installed, download and install the Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Service Pack 1 Redistributable Package ATL Security Update.
