Copy Metal Dialog Box

Project Editor - Metal Types dialog box

This dialog box is opened when you click on the Copy button in the Metal Types dialog box. This dialog box allows you to select the type of metal, planar or via, that you wish to create based on the properties of the metal type which was selected in the Metal Types dialog box when the copy button was selected.

Create a via metal copy: If this radio button is selected, then the Via Metal Editor is opened when this dialog box is closed. If the metal type which you are copying is a via metal, then the Via Metal Editor uses the same loss model and entered properties as the original metal. If the metal type which you are copying is a planar metal, then the Via Metal Editor is opened with properties that define a via metal with the equivalent loss of the original planar metal.

Create a planar metal copy:  If this radio button is selected, then the Planar Metal Editor is opened when this dialog box is closed. If the metal type which you are copying is a planar metal, then the Planar Metal Editor uses the same loss model and entered properties as the original metal. If the metal type which you are copying is a via metal, then the Planar Metal Editor is opened with properties that define a planar metal with the equivalent loss of the original planar metal.
