Axis Setup Dialog Box
Response Viewer - Graph Menu - Cartesian Graph - Graph => Set Axes
You open the Axis Setup dialog box by selecting Graph => Set Axes from the response viewer main menu when your plot is a Cartesian graph. You may also access this dialog box by right-clicking on either axis of your Cartesian graph and selecting Axis Properties from the pop-up menu which appears on your display.
Select which axis you wish to modify by selecting the appropriate tab: X-Axis (bottom), Left-Axis, or Right-Axis. The Right-Axis is only available if a Curve Group in your plot is displayed on the right axis. If no data is displayed using the right-axis then that tab is not present in the dialog box.
Axis
Label: Enter the desired label in the text entry box. This label appears
next to the axis selected from the Axis drop list on your plot.
Auto
Scale: Set this check box if you wish the axis to be scaled automatically
by the response viewer program. Automatic scaling disables the Min, Max, and Divisions text entry boxes.
Min: If autoscaling
is turned off, this text entry box is enabled. Enter the minimum value
which you wish displayed on this axis in this text entry box.
Max:
If autoscaling is turned off, this text
entry box is enabled. Enter the maximum value which you wish displayed
on this axis in this text entry box.
Division:
The Interval and Number text entry boxes are enabled when autoscaling is turned off. These two text boxes
allow you to define the tics in one of two ways: the interval between
tics or the number of tics. When you enter a value in either Division
text entry box the other is updated accordingly. If the Use
Log10 scale checkbox is required,
then you select a multiple of 10 as the tick interval from the Divisions
drop list.
Use Log10 scale:
Select this checkbox if you wish to use
a logarithmic scale for your plot.
Tick
Labels:
Set this check box if you wish the tick labels displayed on the plot.
Precision:
Enter the desired number of significant digits for the display data here.
NOTE: This dialog box is only available for a Cartesian graph. If the plot is a Smith Chart, then selecting Graph => Set Axes opens the Set Smith Chart dialog box.
