A common installation set up on Linux is to install the software on a file server to which users have access via a common directory. The file server also acts as the license server. For example, the software might be installed in /sharedisk/applications/sonnet. All of the users would have SONNET_DIR= /sharedisk/applications/sonnet. In this case, install the license on the file server using the Floating license instructions. Once the license manager is running, the client software will run without running the License setup.
