The Response File Entry dialog box is opened when you add an S, Y, Z Parameter output file or edit an already specified an S, Y, Z Parameter output file in the Output Files page of the Circuit Settings dialog box. This dialog box allows you to specify the type of response you wish to output.
Format: The output data may be formatted for compatibility with several different vendors. Select your choice from the drop list. Choices include:
Note that you may edit the filename and use any file extension you wish such as .d, .rsp, .sNp, etc.
Parameter: Select which type of parameter: S-, Y- or Z-parameter from the drop list.
Complex: The response is a complex number composed of two parts. You may select what those two parts represent by selecting a choice from the drop list. The choices are:
Network: If this project is a Netlist project, you may select for which network you wish to specify an output file from the drop list which contains all the networks in your project. If the project is a geometry project, then this drop list does not appear.
High precision: Clicking on this checkbox outputs high precision (16 figures) data for the response file.
Include adaptive data: Clicking on this checkbox includes all the discrete and adaptive data from an Adaptive Band Synthesis (ABS) analysis. If you wish to only export the discrete data points, disable this checkbox. The checkbox is set by default for all new projects.
Include comments: Select this checkbox if you wish to include the contents of the Comments page in the output file.
Model file name: Enter the desired filename for the file you are specifying in the Model file name text entry box. You may specify an absolute or relative path.
Remember Settings: Clicking on this checkbox saves any selections you make for the next time this dialog box is accessed.
Restore Defaults: Clicking on this button changes all the settings in this dialog box to the defaults used upon installation of the software.
