Loss Factor is one of the measurements available in the Manage Curves dialog box of a Graph Tab. The loss factor can be used to help understand the source of the loss in your circuit. It is computed as follows for an N-port circuit:
As an example, the loss factor for a lossless circuit will be 1.0 in magnitude or 0.0 dB. Please note there is no industry standard for this quantity, so you should verify that the above equation is what you want. Loss Factor is also sometimes referred to as "Power Balance" or "Efficiency Factor."
