Inductance2

Inductance2 is one of the measurements available in the Manage Curves dialog box of a Graph Tab. Inductance2 is the series inductance between any pair of ports assuming a PI-model as shown below. The units are based on the Inductance units setting.

In the above figure, the inductance2 calculation gives the value of L. Any parasitics to ground (such as Y1 and Y2) are not included in the inductance calculation. This measurement is valid for any number of ports.

Inductance2 is computed as follows:

where Ymn is the y-parameter for selected ports m and n in the Ports section of the Properties pane below.
