Insert- New Network (Netlist Only)
When you select Insert - New Network from the project editor main menu, the Add/Edit Network dialog box appears on your display. This dialog box allows you to add a new network to your netlist. If you define a new network, it is added to the end of the netlist as the main network for the netlist. The existing main network is moved up in the netlist.
Net Name: Enter the name of the new network in this text entry box. A default network name is provided, but you may edit the entry. This is the network name displayed in the netlist.
Number of Ports: Enter the number of ports for the network. You may edit the entry or use the up and down arrow keys to change the umber of ports. The number of ports entered here, determines the number of node entries provided below.
Node Assignment: There is a text entry box for each Port in the network. Enter the node in the netlist to which you wish the port to correspond in the appropriate text entry box. You may edit the entry or use the up and down arrow keys to change the node number.
