Insert - Component

A component can represent any kind of internal component type such as a Surface Mounted Device or ideal component. This feature offers you the flexibility to model the component within Sonnet or in combination with another framework or circuit simulation tool. Components are only available in the Sonnet Professional suite.

Selecting any of the Insert - Component commands opens the Component Properties dialog box with the selected component type selected in the Component type drop list. For details on the settings, select the component type below:

This dialog box is also opened when you select Object - Component Properties when a component is selected in your circuit and is used to modify the settings of an existing component.
