Spectre S-Parameter Model Options dialog box

The Spectre S-Parameter Model Options dialog box is opened when you click on the  button that appears to the right of the Spectre S-Parameters checkbox in the Advanced Model options dialog box. This dialog box allows you to set up the parameters for the model you wish to create. The controls are explained below.

Data Type: This allows you to select de-embedded or non-de-embedded data. For a detailed discussion of de-embedding, see the De-embedding chapter in the Sonnet User's Guide. De-embedded is the default setting.

Parameter: Select which type of parameter: S-, Y- or Z-parameter from the drop list. S-Parameter is the default setting.

Complex: The response is a complex number composed of two parts. You may select what those two parts represent by selecting a choice from the drop list. The choices are:

High Precision: Clicking on this checkbox outputs high precision (16 figures) data for the response file.

Include Adaptive Data: Clicking on this checkbox includes all the discrete and adaptive data from an ABS analysis. If you wish to only export the discrete data points, disable this checkbox. The checkbox is set by default.
