Setup - Design

Selecting Setup - Design opens the Design dialog box which allows you to switch the interface to another design without having to close and re-open the interface. For details on the controls, see below. When you click on the OK button, the Design section of the main interface window is updated with your selections. Any information or changes made in the interface will now apply to that design.

Library Name: Select the desired Cadence Virtuoso Library from this drop list.

Cell Name: Select the desired Cell name from displayed list. This list consists of all the cells in the Library selected in the Library Name drop list.  

View Name: Select the desired View from the View Name drop list. The contents of this drop list contains all of the views available for the selected Cell but be aware that you can only open views generated using the Cadence Virtuoso Interface.

Open Mode: Select the edit radio button if you wish to be able to edit the design when it is opened. Select the read radio button if you only wish to examine the design. This mode does not allow you to make any changes to design.
