Capacitance3 is the series capacitance (in pF) between ports 1 and 2 with all of the other ports open-circuited assuming a PI-model. In the example below, the capacitance3 calculation gives the value of C1. Since port 3 is open-circuited, the impedance connected to port 3 is not included in the capacitance calculation. This equation is valid for any number of ports. All additional ports are simply open-circuited.
