Center-Tapped Differential Inductance is one of the measurements available in the Manage Curves dialog box of a Graph Tab. It is the Inductance of the center-tapped inductor with at least 3 ports. The units are based on the Inductance units setting. Port 3 is assumed to be connected to the center-tap and is open-circuited. Any additional ports (4, 5, etc.) are assumed to be connected to a patterned ground shield and are short-circuited. All parasitic elements between the inductor and ground are included in the computed value for differential inductance.

Here, ports 1 and 2 are assumed to be the input and output ports of the inductor. It is also assumed that port 3 is connected to the center-tap of the inductor. Any other ports are assumed to be connected to a ground shield, and are short-circuited for this calculation.
