If you are using the same environment for a number of different designs, the recommended method is to create a template project. A template project is a project which contains any parameters of your designs, such as box size, materials or stackup, that are consistent across a set of designs. This template file can be used as the basis for your projects so that you do not need to manually enter the data each time you create or import a design.
A template is a predefined graph or pattern file that can stand alone by itself or be applied to a project. You may also create your own template to save and use with your Sonnet projects. Every time you run Sonnet, template program data is stored in my documents into version specific program data files. For more information please see Graph and Pattern Templates.
