This section defines the file being used to define the stackup and the name of the Sonnet project created by the translation. A Sonnet technology file (.stf) or substrate file (.matl) contains all the information in a Tech Process file that is required to define the stackup and materials for your translated Sonnet project. The Sonnet technology file supports using proprietary Foundry PDKs.
Substrate (matl): Select this radio button if you wish to define your stackup and materials using a Sonnet substrate file (.matl). When you select this button the Substrate File text entry box appears. Enter the name of the Sonnet substrate file you wish to use for your Sonnet em View.Click on the Browse button to the right to open a Browse window in which you may select the desired file.
Technology (stf): Select this radio button if you wish to define your stackup and materials using a Sonnet technology file (.stf). When you select this button the Technology File text entry box appears. Enter the name of the Sonnet technology file you wish to use for your Sonnet em View. Click on the Browse button to the right to open a Browse window in which you may select the desired file.

Sonnet File: Enter the name you wish to use for your translated Sonnet project here. A default name is provided but may not be edited here. To change the name, see the Advanced Project Options dialog box. The project file is created in your working directory.
