The Toolbars and Panels menu contains many commands which are common among all tabs, followed by commands which are specific to each tab. For specific commands, see the Toolbars and Panels topics in Help for that specific tab.
The common commands are listed below:
Tool Button Text: Select this command to toggle the display of text appearing under buttons on the Sonnet task bar in the session tab. When a check mark appears in the menu, then text is displayed on the task bar.
Lock Toolbars and Panels: Select this command to toggle allowing the movement of any of the tool bars or panels in the present tab to be moved. If the tool bars and panels are presently locked, a check mark appears next to this command in the menu.
Save Window Layout: Selecting this command allows you save the present configuration of this tab. The Save Layout dialog box appears when you select this command. If you move any tool bars or tabs, your layout is automatically saved when you exit a tab and used the next time you open a tab. However, you may wish to save a custom layout to be used for certain tasks.
To save your layout, you may select a layout in the list, or enter a new custom layout name in the Layout text entry box below the list.
When you click on the Save button, the dialog is closed and your present layout is saved to the layout name you selected. Note that a layout may contain more than one type of tab. If so, the only tab type updated is the type of tab from which this command was executed.
Load Window Layout: Selecting this command allows you load a saved window configuration. When you select the command, a menu of existing layouts is displayed. Select the desired layout. The Auto Saved Layout is updated any time you make a change to your window configuration. Note that only tab types which have been saved to the layout are updated. A saved Windows layout may contain only one tab type,
Reset Window Layout: Select this command to change the layout of all open tabs to how they appear initially after installation. All toolbars and pods are returned to their initial locations after installation.
