Edit - Copy copies the selected objects to the clipboard, from where they may be pasted in a different place in the circuit or even in another circuit file. The command leaves the selected objects in their original locations. First, select the objects that you wish to copy into the clipboard. The objects may be on multiple levels. Then choose Edit - Copy. The objects are copied into the clipboard and remain in the clipboard until you replace them by doing another Cut, Copy or Duplicate. Note that ports or vias attached to a polygon will be copied to the clipboard along with the polygon.
