Host IDs

Selecting the Host IDs tab on the License page of the Sonnet Administration dialog box  (Admin - Setup) displays your Host ID. The Host ID must match the license file in order for Sonnet software to run. You enter your Host ID in the License Request form you send to Sonnet.

For Windows, the Host ID is the Ethernet address of your computer or the number which appears on your hardware key.

For Linux, the Host ID is the Ethernet address of your computer.

For Sonnet Lite and Sonnet LitePlus, either your Disk ID or Ethernet address is used as the host ID.
